Every fall, as the air begins to cool and the leaves shift to shades of gold and red, we bring back one of Vienna Coffee Company’s most beloved seasonal offerings: Red Roaster Blend. Available from September through November, this coffee is more than just a seasonal favorite, it’s a tribute to where this locally roasted coffee company all began.
A Nod to Our Beginnings
Back in 2002, Vienna Coffee Company founder John Clark started roasting coffee in his garage on a small, red, commercial-grade roaster. That humble piece of equipment, and John’s pursuit of better coffee in Maryville, sparked a journey that would grow into our award-winning Roastery, multiple cafés, and a wholesale program that brings craft coffee to communities near and far.
The Red Roaster Blend is our way of honoring those early days, reminding us that big dreams often start small, with a spark of passion and a whole lot of dedication.
What’s in the Cup
This year’s Red Roaster Blend is blended with beans from Ethiopia, Mexico, and Tanzania, a carefully selected trio that highlights balance, complexity, and vibrancy.
Tasting Notes:
Chocolate – a smooth and comforting base that anchors the blend.
Blackberry – a subtle fruit-forward brightness that adds depth.
Lemon – a crisp, citrus edge that keeps the cup lively and refreshing.
In 2025, we introduced a slight change: replacing Kenya with Tanzania. This addition keeps the blend bold and dynamic while leaning into the vibrant, juicy notes East African coffees are known for.
Seasonal Availability
Red Roaster Blend is available only from September through November, making it Vienna’s autumn tradition. Whether you’re brewing it at home or enjoying a cup in one of our cafés, it’s the perfect companion to crisp mornings, fall gatherings, and cozy evenings.
