Vienna Coffee Company is rolling out a brand new coffee! Two Lions Blend coffee is comprised of two delicious Ethiopian coffees that give you the best of both worlds! This coffee starts with the clean, natural sugar of the washed Yirgacheffe coffee beans and finishes with the berry sweetness and wine of the pulped natural Sidamo coffee beans.

Asnaketch Thomas

The coffee beans come from the farms of the Konga Cooperative and of Asnaketch Thomas (Amaro Gayo) respectively. These two farms are lions in their own respect, being powerful forces within the coffee world. The Two Lions Blend is a medium, full city roast, which compliments the sweet, fruitier notes of the Ethiopian coffee.

This coffee blend is September's Coffee of the Month both online and at Vienna Coffee House.

Tasting Notes: Brown Sugar, berries, red wine
Aroma: Cherry and spice

National Coffee Day Deal - 50% OFF!

Coffee Cup

Did you know that it's National Coffee Day today, Tuesday, September 29th? What a great thing to celebrate especially all of the hardworking hands that make your daily cup of joe possible. Think about all of the people who had a hand in making that cup: farmer, picker, wet mill processor, dry mill processor, exporter, importer, roaster, barista, and/or yourself. In fact, at all of those stages there were probably more than a couple people who had a hand in that operation.

In honor and celebration of all of the hard work and appreciation of you purchasing the coffee to make all of their hard work worth it, we'd like to offer you a coupon for 24 hours only!

Use the coupon code NCoffeeD15 starting right now (2:15pm) and receive 50% off of a bag of our featured coffee Fair Trade and Organic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

This month we are featuring our Fair Trade and Organic Certified Cafe Femenino Coffee from Peru.

Café Femenino works to break-down cultural barriers that have prevented women from participating in the coffee economy by providing the women control of income, access to land ownership, and recognition for their exceptional coffee. The Cafe Femenino Program has provided a necessary structure for the women’s association to access resources to fund social projects and activities to their communities. In Peru through the years, these activities have included children’s libraries, schools, health and nutritional education, and capacity building in self-esteem, human rights awareness, and literacy.

“Now with our own brand, 'Café Femenino,’ we are able to decide how our incomes will be spent and which of our children will go to school. Our opinions are listened to and taken seriously.”
