From Chattanooga Roots to Maryville Revival
Founded in 1925 by the King family in Chattanooga, Fleetwood Coffee quickly became a Southern favorite. Known for its smooth taste and signature SupAromatized™ roasting process, Fleetwood was a staple for families, factories, and front porches alike through the Great Depression, wartime, and decades of change.
As national brands began crowding grocery shelves in the 1970s, Fleetwood faded from view but never from memory. In 2019, Vienna Coffee Company’s Founder & Roastmaster John Clark saw that Fleetwood’s story wasn’t finished. Its heritage and flavor aligned perfectly with Vienna’s mission to preserve and elevate East Tennessee’s coffee.
By restoring Fleetwood’s original roasting profile and craftsmanship, Vienna Coffee has given new life to a brand that helped shape Tennessee’s coffee culture.
The Coffee of East Tennessee’s EZ Stops
Today, Fleetwood Coffee fuels thousands of Tennesseans each morning through a partnership with EZ Stop, a locally owned convenience store chain with 25 locations across East Tennessee. From Newport to Ocoee, Fleetwood is brewed fresh daily in your neighborhood EZ Stop and delivers the same smooth taste, value, and warmth that have defined the brand since 1925.
A Centennial Worth Celebrating
This year marks 100 years of Fleetwood Coffee, and we’re celebrating all across East Tennessee. On Friday, November 7, Fleetwood and EZ Stop are teaming up for a one-day event with $1 Fleetwood Coffee, all day long at every EZ Stop location.
It’s our way of raising a cup to the Tennesseans who have supported this legacy for a century and to the new customers discovering what makes Fleetwood special: that perfect balance of taste, value, and nostalgia in every cup.
