We are blown away and ecstatic at how well our new customer Lola Beans is doing with their drive-thru coffee “hut” in Chattanooga. Donny and Missy Bradley, Chattanooga natives, moved their 3 children to Alaska for 5 months due to Donny’s work in 2014. While in Alaska part of their family routine was to visit coffee shacks, a staple throughout Alaska. They loved how everyone knew their names and quickly knew their orders without them ever asking. They were always greeted with a warm welcome. 

Their dream for Lola Beans created from the caring experience and genuine interactions they had during their time in Alaska. When thinking of a name, they felt their daughter’s nickname was a perfect fit for their hometown-feel coffee drive-thru. We at Vienna are incredibly excited to help make their experience for their customers warm and delightful. 

Lola Beans is a unique, drive-thru only, coffee shop in East Brainerd near Chattanooga. They have all of your typical coffee drinks, plus some special ones with an Alaskan influence, like their Alaskan Redbull Special. The Alaskan Redbull is a staple trend in Alaska, where one of the owners is from, and consists of a can of Redbull, fruit flavoring, and comes iced or as a slushy. Since opening Lola Beans has been going nonstop serving their community with great quality coffee and customer service. Next time you’re in the Chattanooga area, stop by and give them a visit!

Our Alaskan Red Bull Special ties us back to our “why story” and the birth of “Lola Beans” coffee. Our family chose to move up to Soldotna, Alaska in 2014 when my work was calling me away for weeks at a time, and the continued separation was wearing hard on our family of 5. We ultimately made the bold decision to relocate for 6 months to live, work and “school” in beautiful Alaska. , 

It was an amazing opportunity to soak up all the raw beauty the state had to offer, but this was still a pretty big transition for everyone and we needed to create some local connections to feel “at home” during our time there. In addition to deepening already formed friendships while making new ones, my family quickly began to connect with a particular group of girls they met heading into town for daily coffee runs.. A particular favorite of ours being “TruBlue Drive-Thru Coffee”. These girls were housed in these tiny, yet amazingly efficient drive thru coffee shacks. 

They quickly got to know our family, memorizing our favorite drinks and they truly played a role in helping us feel more connected to our new community. This type of connection and local feel is what we wanted to recreate in Chattanooga one day... Our "one-day" idea finally came to fruition, as “Lola Beans'' Coffee, about 5 years later. 

We have a warm, energetic team of girls, ready to quickly serve you fun coffee drinks, using excellent quality products from our roasters at Vienna Coffee Company. We offer afternoon treats like our Red Bull Special and Italian Sodas, and we are always creating new ideas for you to try. Our desire for quality and creativity, along with our local vibe, make us unique in our community. Coffee drinker, or not, we have something for you to enjoy. Without a doubt, our Alaskan Red Bull Special is becoming a fast favorite and a small nod to how we began.
