Minas Gerais, the largest coffee-producing state in Brazil is where we get our Brazil Santos. This particular coffee is shipped from the Santos port. Because of high daytime temperatures, dry winters and consistent rains the Cerrado region is an ideal location for producing coffee. The rich soil in this region, called "Terra Roxa" or "Red Earth" by the natives, produces approximately 5.5 to 6 million bags per year. This year's crop has a warm full body with a woody flavor and earthy undertones, smooth mouth feel with a very quick finish.
