Emilio Jimenez Castro inherited six hectares from his father in 1990.  This land was used mainly for cattle, but a few years later, Emilio added an additional seven hectares and created the San Francisco farm.  This farm produces coffee, avocado, citrus, and other fruits. It is located in the city of Leon Cortes which is in the San Jose province, in the Tarrazu coffee region. The coffee grow on this farm is processed at the ASOPROAAA mill.  Emilio also produces honey and washed processed coffees in his farm as well.
